With the aim of elevating the burgeoning literary talents in every corner of the nation, the AISELA Literary Awards 2025 was spearheaded on the 19th of July 2025, at NADA Auditorium, Colombo 07.
The awardees of ELOQUENCE ’25 received recognition for their outstanding command of English Language and Literature through the distribution of certificates and awards. Muslim Ladies’ College, Colombo, securing the most number of accolades across various categories in the contest, was honoured as the “Champion School of ELOQUENCE ’25”. The award for “The Most Popular English Literary Association” was bestowed upon Nalanda College, Colombo.
The event featured captivating performances by students from invited schools, illustrating a rich tapestry of diverse artistic skills. Students representing various schools gathered at the occasion, affirming their passion and enthusiasm towards English language and literature.

Organized by AISELA, MPELA is a national cloud-based contest to crown Sri Lanka’s most popular English Literary Association. In 2025, Nalanda College, Colombo, won the title, with Muslim Ladies' College and Sirimavo Bandaranaike College as runners-up.
8ᵗʰ June - 15ᵗʰ June
AISELA’s flagship interschool written and oratory contest brought together students nationwide to showcase their mastery of English. Muslim Ladies' College, Colombo, won the highest number of awards, securing the title of Champion School of ELOQUENCE ’25.
